Welcome to Aedi Technologies Inc. ("Aedi", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Aedi platform, website, and services (collectively, the "Platform").
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Nature of the Platform
Aedi provides a digital planning intelligence platform designed to assist users in understanding zoning, land use permissions, and potential development pathways across supported jurisdictions.
Aedi is an informational and analytical tool only. It does not provide legal, planning, architectural, engineering, or other professional advice.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform.
The Platform may be used by property owners, real estate professionals, legal professionals, planners, engineers, architects, developers, and consultants.
3. Accounts & Usage
Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share accounts in a manner inconsistent with your subscription
- Scrape, extract, or reverse engineer platform data
- Resell or redistribute outputs without permission
- Present Aedi outputs as certified planning or legal opinions
Aedi reserves the right to suspend or restrict access for misuse.
4. Platform Outputs
Stage 1 – Initial Triage
Stage 1 outputs are preliminary summaries based on available zoning, mapping, and policy data. They are informational only and are not intended for submission or reliance without further review.
Stage 2 – Expanded Analysis
Stage 2 outputs provide enhanced analysis, including development pathways and planning considerations. These outputs are not formal planning opinions or legal advice and do not guarantee outcomes.
5. Disclaimers
No Professional Advice
All outputs are for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal, planning, engineering, or architectural advice.
Municipal Authority
All interpretations remain subject to confirmation by the applicable municipality. The municipality's interpretation shall prevail.
No Guarantee of Approval
Aedi does not guarantee development approvals, permits, or regulatory acceptance of any proposed use.
Data Accuracy
Data sources may change and may contain errors or omissions. Aedi does not guarantee completeness or accuracy at all times.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aedi shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or outcomes arising from use of the Platform.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aedi from any claims arising from your use of the Platform.
8. Intellectual Property
All platform content, logic, and outputs are owned by Aedi or its licensors.
9. Termination
Aedi may suspend or terminate access for misuse or breach of these Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
